Speakers
Dr. Sameh Yamany is the CTO of VIAVI Solutions, responsible for the company's technological direction and execution of its technology strategy. He previously served as the CEO and President of Trendium, which was acquired by VIAVI in 2013.
In the industry, Dr. Yamany held a senior executive position at Tektronix Communications, guiding the development of market leading wireless and wireline monitoring solutions. He has also been an assistant professor at Old Dominion University in Virginia. Dr. Yamany earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Louisville, USA, and has authored various patents, articles, scientific paprrs, and book chapters in fields like artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and biomedical engineering.
