The architecture of the Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (NDAC) consists of base stations linked to the Edge node, utilizing the Nokia Airframe Open Edge Server, all situated in SIT@Dover. This setup enables a direct, low-latency connection to our users. The Edge node is further connected to a regional cloud, specifically the Nokia DAC data center (DC), offering secure cloud-based management functionalities. Management of the 5G SA networks in SIT is facilitated through this regional cloud, empowering operations personnel with management tools and secure access to a web-based customer portal known as NDAC Manager.
