This comprehensive service equips companies with essential resources including hardware, software, and a dedicated 5G network configured specifically for experimentation, trials, and research. By operating within FCTLab's controlled environment, users can test their applications, devices, or services without being bound by predefined telco configurations. This eliminates the need for companies to invest in establishing their own testbed infrastructure, allowing them to seamlessly leverage FCTLab's resources.


What we offer:

5G Testbeds and Dedicated 50MHz R&D Bandwidth

Not just one but two 5G Standalone (SA) testbeds have been set up at SIT@Dover, operating at n78 band (3400MHz-3450MHz), covering both indoors and outdoors. Refer to the coverage map below. Since the network is independent and dedicated, many network parameters can be adjusted depending on the use case. 

5G Indoor and Outdoor Coverage Areas @ SIT Dover

The 5G Standalone (SA) testbeds at the SIT Dover campus operate on the n78 band and cover both indoor and outdoor areas. Our partners can utilise the indoor playground at SR-1J, a restricted indoor environment, for testing and experimenting with products and services. The courtyard and L-shaped driveway are available for developing use cases for drones, robots, and autonomous vehicles. Please refer to the coverage map below for more information.
